Our story

Screen time isn't the problem. Boring alternatives are.

From Joel and Sam, founders of Mission Sports

01

Where it started

We grew up in the last generation before screens took over. The early 2000s. Outside all day, football in the backyard, on the trampoline until our parents called us in. Grass stains on every piece of clothing we owned. Bruises we couldn't remember getting and scraped knees we wore like trophies.

We didn't know it at the time, but those were the best years of our lives, and they were built on nothing more than a ball and someone to play against.

02

What changed

Fast forward twenty years. We became the people selling games to parents and grandparents, and we saw what had changed.

Parents today are stuck in a paradox. They want their kids to be tech savvy, because that's the world we're in now, but they also don't want them disappearing into a phone 24/7. They're up against the smartest engineers on earth, paid to keep kids scrolling and playing for as long as possible.

03

We're not anti screen

But here's the thing. We're not anti screen. We love video games. We've played them our whole lives, and we know exactly why they win: they look incredible, they reward you for getting better, and they never let you get bored.

Now walk down the toy aisle. The same formulas it was selling thirty years ago. Serious, stale, barely any innovation. A kid who's just put down Fortnite has no reason to pick any of it up. Video games cracked the code on fun years ago, and the toy and game giants fell behind.

04

The good news

Kids haven't changed. Hand them a ball and they still go wild.

The first swing that actually connects. The first kick that flies into the top corner. The first throw that lands exactly where they aimed. Then they whip around, eyes lit up, chest puffed out, to make sure you saw it.

“Did you see that?!”

Those are the moments we're on a mission for.

05

So we started Mission Sports

We make sports games that are as fun as any video game, but happen in real life. Fast, loud, visually addictive, and impossible to play just once.

Games where a four year old can beat their dad, and where the whole family ends up with stories they'll still be telling around the dinner table twenty years from now.

Our Promise

If it doesn't get the whole family playing, it doesn't get our name on it.

Every Mission Sports product is built to bring the whole family together, from the youngest to the oldest. Easy enough for the littlest player to pick up in seconds. Entertaining enough that the adults keep sneaking back for one more go.

We'll never sell you something that ends up forgotten in the garage. Every product has to earn its place in your backyard or living room, and if it doesn't get the whole family playing, it doesn't get our name on it.

The Mission

Our mission is to put sport back into growing up.

Not with drills. Not with boring training devices nobody touches twice. With games so fun that kids actually ask to go outside again, and so easy to join that nobody gets left on the sidelines.

Summer evenings in the backyard. The shot nobody saw coming. The rematch that went on until it was too dark to see the ball. Those were the best days of our lives.

Now it's your family's turn. Grab the kids, pick a side, and get back out there.
